Timmy Talib’s Longtime Coming Album featured on iTunes

Rising reggae sensation Timmy Talib arrives with his debut studio effort, Longtime Coming, available worldwide from all major digital retailers on July 8, 2014, from FOX FUSE. Longtime Coming is a flawless blend of reggae and dancehall vibes that will sooth and stimulate fans of both genres. The album received a coveted feature on the iTunes U.S. New & Noteworthy Reggae albums, during its week of release. Born Kemar Andrew Turner in Trelawny, a northwest parish in Jamaica, Timmy Talib has been performing since childhood, earning his stripes in church and paying his dues in school choirs, before embarking on a professional career 12 years ago.

The budding artist turned to music because he could not see himself doing anything else. Now armed with his debut studio effort, he is realizing his lifelong dream. “Music just makes me feel different and is so powerful,” Talib reveals. “I have powerful words to preach to the masses, so Jah created music for me and me for music.”

His style of music is different from the norm as it is mixed with pop reggae and a bit of hip-hop. Talib also reveals his lyrics are geared to what happens in everyday life so people can relate to it because the lyrics are real. “My mission with this album is for it to set the foundation for me to grow as a new artist,” Talib discloses. “I just want to keep producing good music for the masses.”
