TX2 Releases Hauntingly Emotional EP “Ghost Of LA” Feat. The All New Track: “Black Wedding”
TX2 is turning heads once again. The rising rocker has just unveiled his brand new EP, "Ghost of LA", along with a hard-hitting music video for the focus track "Black Wedding". The song brings a heavy dose of emo nostalgia with a wild story-line, and will have emo rock fans new and old singing along to the killer chorus and catchy guitar riffs. "Black Wedding" serves as the follow up to his single "Walking Dead Man", released via Hopeless Records just last month. More recently, it was announced TX2 will be taking the stage at the 2024 Welcome To Rockville music festival. In the meantime, catch TX2 playing new songs from the new E.P. throughout his U.S. headline tour this Fall - most of which have sold out.
TX2 shares of the EP: "‘Ghost of LA’ is the story of a closeted gay man who moves to LA with his girlfriend and watches his dreams slowly shatter. The story takes many nods from my life, but twists them in the darkest way. Storytelling has always been my passion, and this EP has given me a chance to heal."
TX2, AKA Evan Thomas, prides himself on injecting authentic stories and experiences from his own life into his lyrics. As someone who is a member of the LGBTQIA community himself, he admits he hasn’t always fit in. His songs document that experience, but really – his stories are about all of us, penned for anyone who has ever felt alone. Per usual - the singer is willing to cause a little chaos with his new track, if that’s what it takes to draw attention to important societal issues. With his new track, he’s making his voice heard loud and clear.
