U2 kicks off 2015 world tour in Vancouver

The most highly anticipated tour of the year, U2’s iNNOCENCE eXPERIENCE opened Thursday, May 14th in Vancouver and will see U2 play indoor arenas for the first time in a decade. The tour will visit 20 cities throughout North America and Europe in 2015.

Yesterday the band delighted the crowd of 19,000 at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver with more than two hours of brilliant musicianship, illuminated by one of the most visually stunning rock productions ever mounted. Tonight they’ll play their second show at Rogers Arena, Vancouver.

U2’s iNNOCENCE eXPERIENCE Tour feature stages at each end of the venue connected by an extended third stage spanning the length of the arena. State of the art video and a radical new approach to surround sound will ensure that everyone in the audience sees, feels and hears the show with maximum impact from every seat in the house.

As the name suggests, U2’s iNNOCENCE eXPERIENCE Tour charts key moments in the various phases of the history of the world’s biggest band. The second leg of the tour includes two shows in Antwerp Sportpaleis, on October 13 & October 14.
