Ultimate Rejects Blasts Off With Debut Track “We Don’t Give A”

Trinidad and Tobago-based EDM DJ-collective Ultimate Rejects drops its highly anticipated debut track “We Don’t Give A,” available worldwide from all major digital retailers on August 18, 2014 from FOX FUSE and propelling Trinidadian music into the pop realm. The DJ unit comprises of hit soca producer Johann Seaton of MadMen Productions and Edghill “MX Prime” Thomas, formerly known as Maximus Dan, a soca artist and deejay in Trinidad.

Seaton is credited with introducing EDM flavors into the Trinidadian musical landscape and many of his recent creations fuse EDM with native soca sounds. Thus, contemporary soca music is evolving into a more pop-oriented genre and served up for the international audience, who is biting. In fact, Seaton and MadMen Productions produced a single for The Voice Season 5 winner Tessanne Chin’s debut album Count On My Love, released on July 1, 2014 from Republic Records. The track titled “One Step Closer” is a pop-Dubstep mash-up and is a taste of what’s to come from Ultimate Rejects.

“We Don’t Give A” is high-energy, up-tempo dance rhythm laced with provocative lyrics that up the ante even more. The thrilling track is a sure club banger and the perfect introduction for Ultimate Rejects while placing Trinidadian music further on the map.
