Velvet Insane is back with the first single from upcoming album "IV" and a new booking agency!

After a period of silence from Velvet Insane, it was announced earlier this year that the band had signed a new record deal with Icons Creating Evil Art (ICEA).

This was celebrated during the summer with something of a comeback show at Kristianstad Rockfest, and shortly thereafter it was also confirmed that the renowned booking agency Continental Music Group (CMG) would be taking Velvet Insane under its wing. That these new partnerships are set to bear fruit became clear when the band kicked off their new album campaign with a triumphant performance at the annual showcase festival Live At Heart in Örebro in early September.

On the 25th of September, the wait is finally over as the first single, Wild In The City Tonite, is out - the first taste of the upcoming fourth full-length album IV, which is set for release on March 5, 2027.

The entire album was recorded and produced by rock legend Chips Kiesbye (Sator), whose CV is impressive enough to warrant a press release of its own. All songs on the album were written by the band themselves, and as the title might suggest, this first single invites you to the dance floor with a hook-heavy party anthem. From the very first notes, you’ll probably feel like throwing the TV out the window, so crank up the volume and put the champagne on ice – Velvet Insane is back with a vengeance, and they’re not asking for permission!

Wild In The City Tonite is out on the 25th of September, 2026, via Icons Creating Evil Art, along side a music video made by Emil Klinta (Who has previously worked with Ghost and The Hellacopters)

Formed in Östersund, Sweden, in 2013, Velvet Insane is a high-energy rock band with a deep-rooted love for classic rock ’n’ roll, glam and hard rock. Founded by lead singer Jonas Eriksson and guitarist Jesper Lindgren, the band has released three acclaimed albums: Velvet Insane (2019), Rock ’n’ Roll Glitter Suit (2021) and High Heeled Monster (2023).
