Veneno releases its album “Pócima II”
The album “Pócima II” by Veneno is now available, a work with which these emblems of hard rock from the Chilean region of Biobío definitively consolidate their present. After the successful premiere of their first single, now everyone will be able to listen to this new album through their favorite music streaming provider. In addition, the band begins its dissemination path by announcing live performances in its homeland and soon in other locations.
The album consists of eight unreleased songs with which this incarnation of Veneno seeks to move towards important challenges in Chilean rock. This new album closes a two-part work and completes the circle that will continue to shape the future of the group. It is the sequel to “Pócima I”, released in 2023 within the framework of the celebration of a decade as a band and the entry of its new vocalist, Luis Astudillo, taking fourteen songs from their three previous albums to re-record them with his voice. of the singer and new instrumentations.
“Pócima II” was recorded at the Vettan Producciones recording studio by Claudio Rivera, producer and founding guitarist of the group. “The lyrics have themes that seek optimism and resilience to get ahead, as well as a bit of social criticism. This accompanied by energetic music that keeps the spirits high,” says the musician.
