Whitmer Thomas Releases "Terminal Crew Of Dudes" Single From HBO Comedy Special & Live Album, Out Friday
This Friday, Whitmer Thomas will unveil Terminal Crew of Dudes, his new HBO Comedy Special and accompanying live album (out via Fire Talk Records). Today, Thomas presents “Terminal Crew of Dudes,” the title track and lone advance single from Terminal Crew of Dudes. Terminal Crew of Dudes presents Thomas’ totality: an electric romp as funny as it is heartfelt. Backed by a band of longtime friends — Clay Tatum (guitar), Budd Diaz (drums), Jeramy Ritchie (bass), as well as Thomas’ brother Johnny McCann (guitar) — Thomas commands the intersection of music and comedy with a laidback ease.
On “Terminal Crew of Dudes,” Thomas recounts adolescent woes alongside the crew that saw him through it all. It’s a touching preview of Terminal Crew of Dudes — produced by Rotten Science, 3 Arts, and Heavy Duty Films — which premieres Friday at 9pm ET on HBO and HBO Max.
In support of Terminal Crew of Dudes, Thomas will host a series of advance screenings beginning tomorrow August 11th at Los Angeles’ Sid The Cat Auditorium, followed by a New York screening on Thursday, August 13th at Union Pool. Following the widespread release of Terminal Crew of Dudes, Thomas will host a celebration at Los Angeles’ Burger She Wrote on Monday, August 17th.
