Winterbourne Release New Video For Single ‘Too Many’
Winterbourne have shared the new video ‘Too Many’, the third single from their forthcoming album, Echo Of Youth - Out August 23rd via Island Records Australia.
The ‘Too Many’ video was launched with Winterbourne and fans watching the clip together on a YouTube Premiere. It was directed by McLean Stephenson, who also worked on the band’s previous clip for ‘Take The Golden’ as well as the creative behind videos for City Calm Down, Sarah Blasko and Bad Dreems.
Jordan Brady from Winterbourne says of the video, “Too Many is probably the most ‘band’ song on the album, so it was always going to lend itself to a life performance video. We got our friends and tour-mates to play the song with us over and over again in a cool room, which we were fine with because it’s so freakin fun to play. Then we ditched the band and walked around singing in Sydney together, because all cool bands walk around singing together that’s just a fact. We decided to do the video with McLean as we love his style and his approach to directing really suits us and brings us out of our respective shells. We think we brought an energy and intensity to the video that works really well.”
Having worked with their self-appointed musical dream team consisting of producer Andy Mak (Vera Blue), engineer Jackson Barclay (Timberwolf) and multi-instrumentalist Thom Mak, Winterbourne have delivered a 12 tracks debut album rich in swirling guitars, lush synths and soaring, catchy choruses and have now surpassed 14 million global streams of their music with their latest track ‘Too Many’ added to playlists such as Spotify’s Front Left and Apple Music A-List Alternative.
Having already road tested a number of new album tracks on their latest national headline tour in their homeland (Australia), as well as in theatres across the country on Dean Lewis’ recent Australian album tour, Winterbourne will be kicking off their Echo Of Youth Album Tour from September, heading for the first time to UK/Europe for live shows with their first performance at Reeperbahn Festival in Germany.
