Abor & Tynna took Germany’s Eurovision Song Contest finals by storm with their track Baller, a song that captivated a record number of viewers with its state-of-the-art beats and massive Eurovision-ready chorus. Since the finals aired, the duo has skyrocketed, surpassing 500,000 streams daily, dominating YouTube Germany’s trend charts at No. 1, and seeing a surge in social media traction.
Tynna describes the song’s lyrics as highly visual, imagining 'shooting for the stars' as creating holes in the sky, letting the stars fall. Their music delivers straightforward, thought-provoking lyrics paired with an infectious sound, offering a fresh perspective and a sense of rebellion. With Baller, they invite listeners to question the status quo and embrace fearless self-expression.
On May 17, Abor & Tynna will bring this energy to the ESC stage in Basel, lighting it up for Germany with Baller—a performance set to leave a lasting impact.
ARTIST BIO:
With roots in Romania and Hungary, Abor & Tynna developed their electrifying sound in Vienna before producing most of their tracks in Berlin. Growing up in a traditional household with limited access to technology but a strong connection to classical instruments, they forged a deep musical identity rooted in authenticity. Abor’s fascination with technology led him to experiment with GarageBand and Logic, eventually producing beats that naturally evolved into a duo when Tynna joined as a vocalist and lyricist.
Their music blends bold electro with mischievous disco pop, offering an escape from the algorithm-driven culture of Gen Z. “We celebrate what inspires us in the moment,” they say, embracing spontaneity in the studio over rigid formulas. Their debut album, Bittersüß, captures this fearless energy—a sonic journey that reflects both light and darkness. With a passion for live performance, they thrive on the thrill of the stage, constantly pushing boundaries and chasing new creative highs.
