Belgian punk trio FERVENTS are delighted to announce they will hit our shores in April/May 2025 for a run of UK tour dates alongside Birmingham rock band Passive Fix, with tickets on sale now (see below for listings).

Commenting on the news, the band said: “We’re really glad to be heading back to the UK after our shows in 2022 and 2024 – we made some great friends on the road, and it’s about time we got to catch up properly. Five gigs in five days might be a bit ambitious, but we’re ready for it!”

“The tour kicks off at Dash The Henge, one of South London’s best underground record stores. Then it’s up to Bristol for our first time there, supporting our friends Passive Fix – we first met them years ago while touring with Pit Pony, so it’s a real pleasure to be sharing the stage again. They’ve also invited us to join them in Birmingham and Manchester.”

“We’ll be wrapping things up in Sheffield, playing there for the first time alongside two brilliant local acts – Penumbra and Atakarma – both making real waves on the local scene. This run of shows is also a chance for us to try out new material ahead of our debut album. For us, the stage is where songs come to life – it’s the best way to shape them before heading into the studio.”

The band released their latest EP, Plastic Snake Factory, in October last year via well-respected Belgian indie co-op label Capitane Records (Adam Green), with singles ‘Plastic Snake Factory’, ‘Faith’ and ‘Let Go’ leading the charge.

Their new, darker sound on Plastic Snake Factory proved a winning formula with underground tastemakers, scoring nods from Vanyaland, The Punk Site, Heavy Blog, Scene Point Blank, Uber Rock, Dansende Beren and more as ones to watch on the European circuit.

Recently opening for French rock outfit Deportivo at the prestigious 2000 cap Olympia venue in Paris, the three piece will play further Belgian shows this April—including another support with Deportivo—before they land in the UK.

A punk band from Liège in the south-east of Belgium, Fervents are intent on setting out their stall as a serious international touring prospect.

Two years after the release of their self-titled 2021 debut EP—recorded live in one day and driven by heady lead single ‘Billy’—the band returned to the studio to record five rougher, darker songs inspired by the grunge and hardcore punk scene.

Recorded by Laurent Eyen, mixed and produced by Ben Hampson (DITZ, Lambrini Girls), and mastered by Katie Tavini (Bloc Party, Los Bitchos, Arlo Parks), forthcoming new EP Plastic Snake Factory is a punchy and finely-crafted introduction to the band’s sound.

Anchored by abrupt rhythms and unstoppable melodies, the band's three voices speak out in unison against current social conformism, the struggle against everyday addictions, and the quest for a better life.

Sharp performances have helped the trio forge a solid reputation on the live circuit, enabling them to play already across Belgium, England and the Netherlands, and to support bands such as DITZ, Kills Birds, Cloud Nothings, Flat Worms, Pit Pony and SONS.
