Inspired DJ and Producer Florian Picasso released his latest single ‘What’s The Next Move’ on the 24th of February via the new imprint La Californie Musique. The single premiered on CLASH Magazine and follows his recently released record ‘It’s Alright’, and Florian continues to appear in the press, having gained support from industry webzines DJ Mag, EDM.com, We Rave You, Your EDM, Dancing Astronaut, Mixmag Asia, and Forbes, helping him grow his stream count to 120 million streams on Spotify and Youtube alone. He now plays shows all around the world with up to 100 shows a year and some of the biggest festivals like Tomorrowland or Ultra Miami. He has also previously collaborated with hip-hop star NAS and famed singer-songwriter John Legend and the single ‘Tomorrow’.

Built to be performed, ‘What’s The Next Move’ could be a strong addition to the arsenal of your favourite DJ’s next set. Lively tech-house drums maintain the groove, while a rolling bassline chugs like a freight train, establishing the momentum needed to lure people to the dance floor.

Picasso is no stage name, Florian is the great-grandson of the mighty Pablo Picasso. He recently paid tribute to his great grandfather in the most artistic and innovative way with some exceptional shows in the unique location, the Picasso Villa ‘La Californie’. Most importantly, he is writing his own story with his own signature, never limiting his creative mind.

Florian Picasso gives us insight into the new single: “‘What’s The Next Move' is a dark and twisted record. My goal was to produce a track that would fit perfectly in that realm and a great peak time weapon for my fellow DJ peers.”
