Continuing on her tear of hardstyle infused techno on Dim Mak, Dani proves time again that she’s at the top of her game - leading to her signing to Dim Mak with an EP coming later this year. With a slew of both local SoCal shows, as well as recent cross country plays like Home Base festival in Orlando, Dani’s demand as a DJ is gaining traction too.
Reflecting on the track, Dani shares “Lie To Me is precious to me because it was the first hard techno track I made for this new era. I wanted to incorporate elements that got me first excited about hard techno and sprinkled influence from my old sound in the breakdown. I’ve been playing this one out all summer, watching the crowd lose their minds for the drops and then slow down and start to grind on their partners for the breakdown. There really is no greater feeling than seeing your creation take people on a journey, exactly how you intended.”
