Greek black/thrash metal horde Necrochakal return with their new album, Golgothian Orgies of Bestial Lust, set for release on March 10 via Floga Records
Formed in 2012 by Bestial Invocator in Athens, Greece, Necrochakal set out to deliver old-school extreme metal with raw intensity, drawing influence from early Sepultura, Sarcófago, Vulcano, Sodom, and Destruction, among others. Over the years, the band has built a reputation in the underground scene with a series of demos and split releases, including collaborations with Slaughtered Priest (GR) and Terrorist (USA).
Their first EP, Profanation of the Gods, was released in 2014 through Metal Throne Productions (CD, 300 copies) and Weird Face Productions (LP, 250 copies) before being re-released in 2016 by Music Cyclone (CD, 300 copies). The 2016 7” EP Trampling The Holy Gospels followed via Hell’s Fire Records, with an additional 100-piece limited run from Fistbang Records.
Throughout the years, Necrochakal has performed live extensively, including two appearances in Romania at the 3rd Old Grave Festival (2014) and the 2nd Vast Plains and Goats Festival (2023). In Greece, they have supported Mystifier, Sextrash, Bewitched, Infernal Curse, Embrace of Thorns, Dead Congregation, and Resurgency.
In 2023, the band released a live rehearsal tape, Satanas Rebirth, featuring three new songs from the upcoming full-length Golgothian Orgies of Bestial Lust: "Satanas Rebirth," "Thorns Upon The Head Of The Carrion," and "Son Of Loss... Judas Goat". That same year, Colombian label Tribulation Prods issued a compilation of Necrochakal's early material, available in 400 digipack copies.
With Golgothian Orgies of Bestial Lust, Necrochakal continues its crusade of unfiltered black/thrash metal, delivering an uncompromising assault of desecration, sacrilege, and violent rituals
