WitcheR returns with “Öröklét” their fourth full-length album, released via Filosofem Records (CD/cassette) and soon on vinyl through Beveria Productions. Written and recorded over two years at Vrags Forest Studio, the album features Karola Gere (keyboards, vocals) and Roland Neubauer (guitars, drums, vocals), delivering four new compositions alongside a powerful reinterpretation of Schubert.
As the spiritual successor to Lélekharang, the album features four new compositions and a Schubert adaptation, where the icy monumentality of black metal intertwines with the timeless grace of classical harmony.
With roots in Hungary’s metal underground, WitcheR’s sound should appeal to fans of Summoning, early Dimmu Borgir, and Wolves in the Throne Room. The release is supported by two official music videos:
