Standout South-London R&B artist James Vickery today returns with his most emotionally resonant and radio-forward single to date, “Better Days.”

Built around his signature velvet register and that unmistakable conversational falsetto that has made him one of the best discoveries of UK R&B in the last 5 years, “Better Days” is a love song that sits perfectly between Rhythmic, R&B and Pop with a timeless vocal performance and modern rhythmic production.

Vickery has a rare gift for transforming deeply personal experiences into universally resonant music. As he says, “Life has its ups and downs for sure but the days with you are the ones worth remembering. Im saying in this song, ‘my best days are spent with you’. We took our time to get here but now we are here, and every day I spend with you I cherish the most. Whether we’re taking a trip or doing something mundane, I’m totally enamoured and feeling complete, there’s nothing quite like it”.

“Better Days” is part of James’s newest album, “JAMES.”, which is now out via Red Bull Records and contains the stunning singles “Right Side”, “Butter”, and “Hotel Lobby”, that have received praise across the board with support from BBC Radio 1, BBC 1Xtra, KISS, The Independent and more. Together, these tracks form the core of an album Vickery calls his most authentic yet, blending classic R&B, Seventies funk, soul, and the pop sounds of the late Nineties and early 2000s that shaped him. That organic energy is palpable throughout a bold, emotionally rich statement from an artist fully embracing who he is.
James is also ready to embark on his European tour, coming this November & December. Please find the dates below and the tickets here.
