Written by Serge Pizzorno and produced by Serge and Fraser T Smith, with mixing from Spike Stent, ‘The Wall’ is the fourth advance from The Alchemist’s Euphoria. Sonically inspired by space and drenched in starlight, the piano driven track is the band at their most vulnerable.
“The Wall was written probably a year ago, maybe even longer. Originally, it was about having a hangover, so it started off a little bit as a joke, but it doesn't mean that anymore,” Serge said of the track. “It's weird you start at one place in your head and then as you finish it and read it back you go 'Actually no, you know what...' It’s perfect for this album. You hit a f*cking wall, but you get back up again.”
Kasabian will perform at Cirque Royal on 8 October 2022.
