With Marco Borsato as headliner, preceded by the ever-popular Clouseau, Suikerrock has drawn two chart toppers from the Dutch-speaking pop world to the country’s ‘sweetest city’. They will turn Sunday, August 2nd into a top day for the Low Countries as they close out the redesigned Suikerrock Festival in style!

Top Day for the Low Countries

During his 25-year-long music career, Dutch performer Marco Borsato has already scored some 40 top hits. His long list of well-earned successes has made him one of the most successful vocalists in the history of the Dutch music industry.

For its part, the band Clouseau consists of two Flemish brothers who made a comeback last year with their latest album ‘Clouseau’. Over their 28-year career, the Wauters brothers' successes have eclipsed those of any other Belgian band, with countless gold record awards and sold-out concert arenas to show for it. Since Clouseau will only give four performances in 2015, it will not be easy to see them live this year. Sunday, August 2nd will therefore be a lovely reunion, marking the tenth time they will perform on stage in the city of Tienen.

Family Day

Sunday has always been the traditional 'Family Day' at this Tienen city festival. This year, families are once again the focus. For instance, a performance with children’s acts will be a new part of the early afternoon programme. The 'Family Ticket', a combo-ticket for families with kids, has been added to the 2015 edition.

Programme

Suikerrock 2015 takes place from Friday, July 31st to Sunday, August 2nd in Tienen’s city centre. Marco Borsato and Clouseau are the first confirmed names for the festival's 29th edition. Stay tuned, more acts will be announced soon!
