Hot news on a hot day! Metallica are playing Rock Werchter 2022. They are the headline act on Friday 1 July. Ever since that first time in 1993, up to their most recent appearance at the festival in 2014, they have always been impressive, always bursting with energy, always playing with total dedication. Metallica is the best metal band in the world - this is beyond dispute. Rock Werchter 2022 has now locked its second headliner, with Pearl Jam already confirmed for the opening day of the four-day festival. Ticket sales for Rock Werchter 2022 start on Wednesday June 23rd at 10 AM via ticketmaster.be.
Sad but true... There will be no Rock Werchter next month. The festival was postponed earlier this year, as the current situation does not allow for a major festival over several days. Better days are coming, and Rock Werchter will return next year. In full and at its best, from Thursday 30 June to Sunday 3 July 2022, at the Werchter Festivalpark. This is going to be a party like never before. With Pearl Jam and Metallica, some major names are already confirmed for next year's festival. More names will be announced soon.
