As the summer months edge closer and festival season becomes a not-so-distant reality, Sonus Festival is in full planning mode for their 5th anniversary edition, taking place between 20th - 24th August 2017 in it’s Pag Island home. As the line-up is growing ever more weighty, and more international brand partners add to the proceedings, the Sonus Festival team is happy to welcome another international Festival brand: Movement Croatia. The very special full day and night collaboration will take place on Thursday 24th August featuring Sven Väth, Dorian Paic, Joseph Capriati and Luigi Madonna - rest assured this will be a party to remember!
The promoter’s behind Kappa FuturFestival and Movement Torino have recently decided to change their strategy towards the ever-exciting Croatian circuit. From 2017 onwards, Movement Croatia will be an exceptional plugin brand partner, teaming up with Sonus Festival for a full day takeover on Thursday 24th August. During daytime hours the iconic Papaya venue sees Sven Väth and Dorian Paic dig deep for sunshine sounds, whilst Luigi Madonna and Joseph Capriati takeover Aquarius for a finale evening Movement x Sonus special. Born in one of the US hotspots for electronica, Detroit, Movement celebrated 10 years at the heart of the cities underground movement last year. Championing talent from across the globe, Movement has counted the likes of Carl Craig, Kevin Saunderson and Derrick May as family since day one, and now welcomes globally revered artists from the house and techno world state- side each year. Since its arrival in Turin in 2006 Movement has become the most loved dance music Festival in Italy, together with Kappa FuturFestival. This collaboration promises to be one not be missed.
Fans can be assured that parties born from the combination of two veteran Croatian festivals is not one to be missed.
