Sneakout Records & Burning Minds Music Group are pleased to announce the release of the lyric video for “Miriam (She Wakes Up At Midnight),” a song included in My Darkest Red's debut album “Midnight Supremacy,” released on September 27 and distributed worldwide by Plastic Head Music Distribution. A video, shot by Moviedel Productions is online on YouTube.

The band states: “In this song, the lyrics followed the development of the story it tells, painting different atmospheres: doom-oriented intro and verses, impetuous and sepulchral refrain, dreamy and ethereal ending. Violin, piano and keyboards by Oscar Burato and Sonny Montanari helped give the song the dark and melodic touch it needed. The ghostly choruses and bass phrasing, an intentional early Bowie quote, accompany the listener as the tune closes, with lyrics inspired by the 1983 horror film The Hunger, starring Catherine Deneuve and David Bowie. The film is about the loneliness of the immortal vampire, condemned to watch her partner grow old and die, and his paranoia and jealousy creeping into their relationship. We are very pleased with the result, and since reviewers have appreciated this song, calling it a true gothic-dark anthem, it seemed right to release its lyric video. What better time than Halloween?"
