An award-winning guitar player since the age of sixteen and husband to renowned blues artist Gráinne Duffy, Paul Sherry is an esteemed presence in the Irish rock ‘n’ roll scene.

Offering a unique combination of rich guitar technicality, rugged vocal delivery and thoughtful songwriting, Sherry brings years of industry experience and passion to his craft. New single, “Fades“, to be released November 22nd, sees the artist lean into a classic-tinted sound infused with his alternative and grunge influences, resulting in an uplifting rock track bound with energy and feel.

Produced by Rocky O’Reilly at Start Together studio in Belfast, the single features drums by Davy Cassidy and guitars, bass and piano by the multi-talented Sherry. Reflecting on the inspiration behind the song, he explains:

“Music is mediation, no thinking, just a pure clear mind in full flow..’Fades’ is influenced by taoism, as in, everything changes through the journey of life. By letting go, being present and fully aware in the moment, we truly experience the flow. The song is about the struggle to stay present and have a clear mind in this modern day society that we live in.”

A musician with deep artistic and spiritual values, “Fades” brings to the forefront Sherry’s values of creativity, passion, storytelling and positivity that permeates throughout his discography.
