Renowned heavy band Polar continues to dominate the music scene with the release of their brand new single, 'Paranoia' ft. Rachel Aspe from Cage Fight, alongside the pre-order for their upcoming album »Five Arrows«, set for release on November 22nd, 2024, via Arising Empire.
Following the impactful anthems 'We Won't Sleep' and 'Swimming with Sharks', which captivated audiences with intense lyrics and pulsating rhythms, Polar's latest track 'Paranoia' delves into themes of psychological struggle and inner turmoil.
"When going through the lowest points in the past few years, there has been periods where I have heavily battled this feeling, weighing heavily in my mind and putting immense pressure on my mental health. Putting the feeling into song/words has been a therapy to me and we are incredibly honoured to have Rachel Aspe (Cage Fight) guesting on the track. Rachel brings a whole new level of aggression that really brings to life the concept of my mind battling against the crushing feeling of Paranoia."
In 2023, amidst significant lineup changes that led to the departure of several original members, founding vocalist Adam Woodford took the reins. Determined to turn adversity into opportunity, Woodford revitalized Polar by bringing on new members Stefan Whiting (bass), Bruno Consani (guitar), Simon Richardson (guitar), and Max Flohr (drums). This fresh lineup has injected new energy and perspective into the band, further amplifying the defiant and transformative message of 'Paranoia.'

Since their formation in 2009, Polar has carved out a distinctive niche with their intense, chaotic sound and electrifying live performances. Over the past 15 years, they have built a solid reputation, establishing themselves as a powerful presence in the music scene.
This rejuvenated lineup has not only taken center stage at the Resurrection Festival but has also completed tours across Europe and the UK. Together, they have produced Polar's 6th studio album with Jack Murphy at Crystal Sound Studios, exploring the theme of change's destructive power. This album is considered by the band as their most impactful work to date. With renewed positivity and unyielding determination, Polar has reached new heights of strength and shows no signs of stopping.
