Alternative Americana/country act The Delines are thrilled to announce the release of their very first Xmas 7” single, ‘Christmas In Atlantis’. But, listeners beware: this is Christmas Delines-style, not your ordinary Bing Crosby sleigh ride number. The song includes fighting sisters, political knife throwing, possible inappropriate three-way hookups, a despondent grandmother, and - of course - plenty of drinking, disparaging remarks, general family discord and violence...BUT NO SWEARING. The Delines may just have written the most normal Christmas song ever.

‘Christmas In Atlantis’ was recorded at Bocce studio in Vancouver (Washington state) and produced, engineered and mixed by John Morgan Askew. The sleeve was designed by their graphics guru Aaron Draplin, while the 7" vinyl comes in a strictly limited edition of 1000.

2022 saw The Delines release their much heralded third album, ‘The Sea Drift’, which featured in numerous year-end polls in the UK and across mainland Europe. It made no. 1 on Americana UK, was the no. 1 choice of Gideon Coe at BBC 6 Music, only just missed the Top 10 in Uncut magazine and was top 20 in Rolling Stone (France), Volkstrant (Netherlands), El Pais (Spain) and many more.

With over 100,000 records sold in Europe by The Delines and his former band Richmond Fontaine, novelist and songwriter Willy Vlautin will have his seventh novel published in 2024 by Faber & Faber. The Delines are currently in the studio completing their fourth album, with which they will be touring in 2024.
