After exploring Progressive House nostalgia with his track “Love Me Now” and euphoric anthems like “Good Time” and “Surrounded”, “Desire!” brings Vincent back to his roots. Dialing up the energy and leaning into the heavy, bass-driven sound that first made him a staple in the dance music community.
Reflecting on the track’s release, Vincent shares: “For a long time I was nervous about releasing heavier music as someone who primarily focused on EDM/pop crossover records! It’s time to bring the big tracks into the limelight and Desire! is the first to come!”
Vincent’s lore in the dance music world has spanned over a decade. Early bootleg remixes for Alison Wonderland and The Chainsmokers amassed tens of millions of streams, quickly becoming fan-favorite moments in their live sets. Following a three year mental health break post-pandemic, Vincent returned to music in late 2023, and since then, has redefined his artistic vision with a string of dynamic releases on Dim Mak. Now, “Desire!” marks the most explosive release yet from his new era, teasing what’s to come from Vincent.
