US hard rockers Who On Earth are back with a hard-hitting, unapologetic single entitled ‘Lobotomy’, which pulls no punches as it confronts the grip that shock media, fake news and political agendas has over the public, hypnotising and dividing as it does so. The song is a raw outcry against the endless content that keeps people locked in virtual lives, numbing free thought and fuelling a culture of disconnection.

With searing riffs and an urgent lyric, ‘Lobotomy’ calls out the manipulation and mindless consumption that dominates our screens, with the band describing it as a wake-up call to break free from the digital haze. "In a country founded on civil liberties, many still allow themselves to be mentally enslaved by societal expectations,” laments vocalist Coosh. “They conform to trends, no matter how absurd, while free thinking is increasingly mischaracterised as hate speech. I say, trust your own path and let your true self shine through."

A video for ‘Lobotomy’ is available to watch HERE, of which bassist Pete Rizzi adds: "Although the subject matter of this song is downright scary, we did have a great time cutting Coosh's skull open, rewiring his brain and having him see the light, just
like in 'One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest’!”

Lobotomy’ and the band’s autumn 2024 single, ‘DAWGZ’ STREAM | VIDEO are both included on 'Smoke & Mirrors’, a new five song EP out on 7th March 2025 that comes in the wake of a heartbreaking loss for the group. Having only just completed the recording of new material in July 2024, lead guitarist Bruce Gatewood died of a sudden heart attack. A beloved musician, friend and mentor, his legacy is deeply embedded in their music. “Bruce will always live on in our hearts, and his contributions will be heard for years to come,” the band reflect. “We have vowed to honour him by getting this music out to the world and keeping his memory alive.”

'Smoke & Mirrors' has been produced, mixed, engineered and mastered by Mike Orlando (Category 7, Adrenaline Mob) at Sonic Stomp Studios in New York, with its cover art created by Ken Adams (Lamb of God). "We plan on releasing new music throughout the year, with 'Smoke & Mirrors' being part one,” the band continue. “We can't wait for people to hear how the band has grown from our [2022 debut album] 'Blame' and how layered our songwriting and musicianship has become.”
