W!ZARD are the result of the brilliant association of noise, post-punk and post-hardcore, unified by an incredible and liberating energy. Influenced by artists like Daughters, Idles or At The Drive In, they found their own musical signature by associating hot-tempered vocals, pounding drums and a howling guitar. With this new song an video "Despite" - which only appears on a live session and has never been officially released before - W!ZARD depict the self-destruction of humanity. An intense anger directed to a world that is heading towards its own end. "Despite" is a warning, a duty of conscience. Recorded and mixed at Apiary Studio (Laval, France) by Amaury Sauvé, W!ZARD's new EP 'Definitely Unfinished' fiercely blends noise, post-punk and post-hardcore to produce this bold violent and depressive sound. "With 'Definitely Unfinished’, we could develop the ideas we wanted for the lyrics or for the sound of the instruments, with a raw freedom in the writing process, keeping the music clear and understandable despite its darkness" comment the band. W!ZARD self-released two EPs in 2016 and 2017 before issuing they eponymous debut album in March 2018. They won a few music competitions in France (Prix de la Sacem, Prix de la Ville de Bordeaux) and in Spain (Bilborock), however the band shines the most by playing live, supporting fine acts such as General Elektriks or The Psychotic Monks, or by touring Europe.
