Melodic death metal titans Aetherian have released their second single, "ΠΥΡ ΑΕΝΑΟΝ", a powerful precursor to their highly anticipated second full-length album, "At Storm's Edge", slated for release on July 14, 2023, through Lifeforce Records.

The aggression in "ΠΥΡ ΑΕΝΑΟΝ" articulates the trials and tribulations that have punctuated human history since the birth of civilization. The song explores the concept that the unending flames of conflict are an intrinsic, seemingly irreplaceable, part of human behavior.

The single was recorded at Devasoundz studios and produced by the acclaimed Fotis Benardo, known for his work with Nightfall and former Septic Flesh. The artwork, a haunting piece named “Les Fleurs du Mal,” was crafted by French artist Yoann Lossel. Aetherian's new logo, signaling the commencement of a fresh era for the band, was designed by Christophe Szpajdel.

Complementing the release, Aetherian unveils an animation video produced by HK Visual Creations to breathe visual life into "ΠΥΡ ΑΕΝΑΟΝ".

"In every myth and every legend, across vast continents and raging seas, through the ages they are preserved. Looming over empires, igniting revolutions, destroying civilizations. Where the perpetual flames awoke, what was built, is no more," Aetherian reflects on the theme of the song.
