Nieuw album 'Violate Consensus Reality' uit op 28-10-2022 via Pelagic Records
Psychedelic post-metal trio Psychonaut (BE) heeft zojuist zijn nieuwe mistroostige single 'All Your Gods Have Gone' uitgebracht, vergezeld van een dystopische animatiefilm - een kruising tussen Orwell's '1984' en Pink Floyd's 'Another Brick In The Wall'.
Psychonaut: "This track is one of the shortest and heaviest tracks we’ve ever written. We don’t usually allow ourselves to put too much anger into our songs because we try to focus on the positive, but this album made us realize that it can actually be a very healthy thing to give into your anger from time to time. There’s no use in ignoring it because that only makes it grow. The lyrics to this track were very cleansing and healing to write in that way.”

Psychonaut is een psychedelisch post-metal collectief uit Mechelen, België. Hun kenmerkende en hypnotiserende sound is sterk beïnvloed door 70's bands als Led Zeppelin en Pink Floyd, maar vindt ook inspiratie bij bands als Tool en Amenra. Debuutalbum ‘Unfold The God Man’ uit 2020 zette het acid rocktrio in één klap op de kaart waarna een aantal indrukwekkende EP’s en singles volgden.
