5 Grammy Awards for Kendrick Lamar!

Kendrick Lamar took home 5 awards at last night’s 60th Grammy Awards in New York. He also opened the awards ceremony with a stunning live performance of “XXX” featuring U2’s Bono and The Edge and an army of dancers. He later took the stage again to collect a total of five awards for ‘Best Rap Performance’ (Humble), ‘Best Rap/Sung Performance’ (Loyalty), ‘Best Rap Song’ (Humble), ‘Best Rap Album’ (Damn) and ‘Best Music Video’ (Humble). Needless to say that early in to his career, Kendrick Lamar has already established himself as hip hop eliteand the future is looking very bright for him. Next week, on February 9th, “Black Panther: The Album”, Music from and inspired by the film, curated by Kendrick Lamar will be out. A couple of weeks later, on February 27th, Kendrick Lamar will perform at the sold out Sportpaleis in Antwerp.
