A$AP Rocky releases "Both Eyes Closed"
A24 Music released the original soundtrack for Spike Lee’s new A24 and Apple Original Films feature HIGHEST 2 LOWEST, which will be streaming on AppleTV September 5.
Curated by Lee and including two new songs, “Trunks” and “Both Eyes Closed," from multi-hyphenated artist, entrepreneur, actor and fashion icon AAP Rocky, the soundtrack champions black artists across genres as the film follows Denzel Washington’s music business mogul character rediscovering his love for exactly these kinds of artists.
In addition to his soundtrack contributions, AAP Rocky also features in the film.
ABOUT THE FILM
When a titan music mogul (Denzel Washington), widely known as having the “best ears in the business”, is targeted with a ransom plot, he is jammed up in a life-or-death moral dilemma. Brothers Denzel Washington and Spike Lee reunite for the 5th in their long working relationship for a reinterpretation of the great filmmaker Akira Kurosawa’s crime thriller High and Low, now played out on the mean streets of modern day New York City.
