A$AP Rocky releases "Punk Rocky"

Today, multi-hyphenated artist, entrepreneur, actor, and fashion icon AAP Rocky unleashes his latest single “Punk Rocky” - listen HERE. The track marks Rocky’s first release off of his long-awaited fourth studio album DON’T BE DUMB, out January 16 via AAP Worldwide/RCA Records - presave/preorder HERE.

The indie subversive track, written by Rakim Mayers [Rocky], Cristoforo Donadi [Ghost], Adam King Feeney [Ging] and Zach Fogarty is raw, unfiltered, and unmistakably Rocky, setting the tone for this new era.

The accompanying video for “Punk Rocky,” directed by AAP Rocky alongside Folkert Verdoorn and Simon Becks (collectively known as The Three Musketeers), was produced by Magna Studios, Freenjoy, and AWGE — watch HERE. Starring Winona Ryder, Danny Elfman, Thundercat, and AAP Nast, the video brings five out of six of Rocky’s DON’T BE DUMB alter egos to life with Rocky himself portraying GR1M, Tommy Revenge as RUGAHAND, Thoto as BABUSHKA BOI, the Williams twins as SHIRTHEAD, and DUMMY appearing alongside them.

DON’T BE DUMB is Rocky’s first full-length release in eight years and has already generated unprecedented global demand. The album’s cover art was created by visionary filmmaker and illustrator Tim Burton in collaboration with Rocky and features six of Rocky's signature personas, brought to life in Burton’s unmistakable style. Each character offers a window into unforgettable moments across the course of Rocky's illustrious career.

This album comes on the heels of a massive year for Rocky, in which he served as co-chair of the 2025 Met Gala, was announced as the creative director for Ray-Ban, and was appointed as Chanel’s new house ambassador. Rocky also performed a groundbreaking set at both this year’s Lollapalooza and Camp Flog Gnaw, previewing what is to come on DON’T BE DUMB.

The same year saw Rocky demonstrate his incredible acting prowess in two films produced by A24 — Highest 2 Lowest directed by Spike Lee and If I Had Legs I’d Kick You directed by Mary Bronstein. Rocky also wrote and performed two songs for the Highest 2 Lowest soundtrack, "Trunks" and "Both Eyes Closed."

AAP Rocky is currently the Creative Director of both Ray-Ban and PUMA and has been a part of many high-profile commercial campaigns including Bottega Veneta, Calvin Klein, Chanel, Gucci, Courvoisier, Dior, Mercedes Benz, Guess and Fenty Skin.
