Alamo Race Track announce new album 'Hawks'

Alamo Race Track are set to release a new album on April 6. Hawks is the first album in four years of the Amsterdam indie band.

After the release of their third album Unicorn Loves Deer Alamo Race Track toured international clubs and theaters. In The Netherlands the band composed and performed music for award-winning theatre shows of Conny Jansen Danst and Jakob Ahlbom. In between tours the band built their own studio and practice room on the outskirts of Amsterdam to work on their fourth album. The band took their work to SSE Noord and recorded the album with producer Frans Hagenaars.

The result is an eclectic selection of 12 songs. The album is more than ever a band record, an album where the group all worked on from start to finish and turned out to be their most versatile and in-depth work to date.

Alamo Race Track debuted in 2003 with the album Birds At Home and had their breakthrough with their sophomore album Black Cat John Brown (2006). The international tour with the highly acclaimed Unicorn Loves Deer saw a slightly changed and current line-up with Ralph Mulder on vocals and guitar, Leonard Lucieer on guitars, Robin Buijs on drums, Peter Akkerman on bass and Jaap Bossen on guitar.
