Oh yes! It is almost time for I Love Techno. Are you also looking forward to dancing the night away this Saturday at Flanders Expo in Ghent? We definitely are! It is going to be a huge party with sets by Paul Kalkbrenner, Klangkarussell, Boys Noize, Underworld, Jeff Mills, Duke Dumont, Gesaffelstein, Ten Walls and many many more. But before you put on your dancing shoes, do read this newsletter with lots of practical information.

The colored room concept features again at I Love Techno. However, we have made some changes in the arrangement of the rooms for your comfort and pleasure. To make sure everybody gets to enjoy top acts like Paul Kalkbrenner and Underworld, the BLUE ROOM is bigger than ever. The latest underground sounds can be discovered in the new BLACK ROOM. TO AND FROM I LOVE TECHNO
BY TRAIN
Are you travelling to Ghent-Sint-Pieters by train? If you have a valid festival ticket you can catch the free shuttle bus/tram that takes you straight to the entrance of I LOVE TECHNO. The shuttle runs continuously from 5pm to 8am. If you prefer to walk to the venue, please follow the I Love Techno signs from the railway-station. We advise you to plan your journey before coming to the festival and buy your train ticket in advance. All necessary info (ticket prices, time tables) can be found at www.belgianrail.be . Note that there are no trains between 23:55 Saturday and 5:25 Sunday morning. The railway station will be closed at night from 01:00am and until 04:30am. The first trains schedule herewith:
- Mechelen / Brussel / Leuven / Hasselt: 05.25am
- Genk: 06.04am
- Kortrijk: 06.08am
- Geraardsbergen: 06.15am
- Antwerpen: 06.16am
- Brugge / Oostende: 06.20am
BY TAXI
Do you prefer a more comfortable ride? Take a cab! There’s a taxi stop at the train station. The taxi will easily drop you off at the venue. A taxi drive from the train station to the venue costs around 15. The taxi stop is next to our Kiss & Ride. If you want to go home with a taxi, just go to the same taxi stop and take the first taxi in line. BY CAR
If you are travelling by car simply follow the motorway signs. They will lead you to the parking (P6/P7) quickly and easily. The parking fee is 5 euro (cash only). Parking stewards will collect the parking fee and give you a parking ticket in return.
KISS AND RIDE
Follow the signs Kiss & Ride (‘K&R’) and get dropped off/picked up next to the I Love Techno entrance.
BY BUS
If you organised a bus trip with friends, please note that busses need to park at Parking P5b. The parking fee for buses is also 5 euro. Follow the bus signs to get to the parking lot.
I LOVE TECHNO MOBILE APP
The I LOVE TECHNO mobile app presented by Proximus can be freely downloaded via appmiral.com/ilovetechno and from the stores on your smartphones. Available for iPhone, Windows Phone and Android it is a must have!
