Autoclismo releases "Tetra", EP leaves a trail of adrenaline in the listener with broken movements and sound twists

"Tetra" new four-track EP from the Brazilian instrumental trio, Autoclismo, already existed before planet Earth stopped in the face of a pandemic unprecedented in the history of mankind.

Its four tracks were already part of the band's live repertoire, some a few months ago, others since forever. The consensus was that this work should "tie" the band's path as well. While the world was isolated and learning to survive on the basis of protocols, "Tetra" was born. The EP has just been released on all streaming platforms by the Electric Funeral Records label.

It is also important to note that "Tetra" was a huge puzzle, since it was designed without everyone involved being able to share the same environment, with the help of new technologies and the logistical accuracy of studio 202, in Teresina, Brazil.

The EP opens with "Venice", one of the oldest songs in the repertoire, and perhaps the track that most synthesizes Autoclismo's proposal: energy, contagious and striking melody, which leaves an adrenaline rush right at the first audition. "Obsolescence" brings weight, broken movements and sound turns, which make it one of the most worthy "strangeness" tracks in the lineup.

"Nuts Bloody Nuts" is the youngest of this work, and had its world premiere during the band's presentation at the Mar.The festival. She is a distant cousin of "Venice", with whom she reflects guitars marked by energy and melody, without losing weight. "SAMO '' (or" Same Old Shit "for intimates) closes" Tetra "quickly, and" notes "of strangeness to sharpen the most avid ears.

Autoclismo is an instrumental trio formed by Lucas Barbosa (guitar), Fernando Castelo Branco (bass) and Jarrel Santos (drums), with influences ranging from alternative rock, post-hardcore and experimental nuances.
