Nnavy Releases New Single "Late Nights"
From Upcoming Album "I'll Wait For You" - Out 30th October
Swiss singer, songwriter and performer NNAVY today releases “Late Nights,” the second single from her debut album I’ll Wait For You, out October 30th. Following the critically acclaimed “Slowly Burning,” the release confirms NNAVY as one of the most compelling and uncompromising new voices in contemporary soul and R&B.
“Late Nights” is a soulful love song that delves into the complexities of attraction and vulnerability. The track addresses the specific struggles faced by Black women in the dating scene, highlighting the discomfort and secrecy some relationships endure due to societal biases regarding body image and race. It is a raw exploration of the desire to be seen and desired for one’s whole self — a bold, intimate challenge to the notion that Black women are invisible or unattractive in the Western romantic landscape.

“Late Nights” follows “Slowly Burning,” which arrived in June as the first glimpse of the album and earned immediate support at DSPs — landing on Spotify’s Queen and R&B Weekly, Apple Music’s New Music Daily and Alpha Women, and further placements across Pandora and Vevo’s curated playlists. Vevo also named NNAVY a Vevo DSCVR artist in recognition of the release. Together, the two singles paint a vivid portrait of the emotional world at the centre of I’ll Wait For You: a record about grief, resilience, desire and self-worth, moving across twelve songs between R&B, soul and jazz.
Since launching her artist project, NNAVY has released four critically acclaimed EPs and earned recognition both at home and internationally, including the TATAKI Award (2023) and the Swiss Music Award for Best Act Romandie (2025). Her growing profile has led to a coveted COLORSxStudios performance (2023) and appearances at the renowned Montreux Jazz Festival for three consecutive years, including an opening slot for Lionel Richie in 2023. Along the way she has shared stages with Arlo Parks, Ben l’Oncle Soul, Alfa Mist and November Ultra.
A fiercely independent artist, NNAVY completed a 60-date tour in 2024 without the support of a record label, relying instead on the strength of her artistic vision, a dedicated team and an unwavering work ethic. Focused on building a lasting career rather than chasing fleeting success, she approaches her artistry with patience, ambition and a long-term mindset — driven by a desire to create work that matters, and to be a role model who can inspire and empower women who see themselves reflected in her story.
