Belgian electronic-duo Asa Moto remix Delv!s’ latest single

Three weeks after the release of his new EP “Walk Alone Tracks”, the young Belgium singer-songwriter Delv!s unveils a brand news remix of his lead single. Produced by Belgian electronic duo Asa Moto, part of Soulwax’s imprimt DEEWEE, the track maintains Delv!s’ influences whilst exploring new avenues.

Before the launch of his anticipated new album, “Bla Bla Blue” scheduled for beginning 2022, Delv!s, the latest revelation on the rising Flemish music scene, already left a mark with his latest EP “Walk Alone Tracks”, released back in October. Its lead single “Walk Alone Track”, driven by his soul voice as well as eclectic yet old-school arrangements, was quickly picked up by Asa Moto.

Another artist coming from the jubilating new wave of Belgium artist, Asa Moto, the duo composed of Olivier Geens and Gilles Noé, sonically ventured out as they pleased on this track. Pilars of the ultra-creative DEEWEE label, founded in Gent in 2015 by the Dewaele brothers (Soulwax), never shying away from experimenting with music – reaching from sharp jazz to indie rock or contemporary electronic – they quickly found inspiration to reinterpret Delv!s’ “Walk Alone Track”.

The result is a great artistic and even familiar connection, just like the Dewaele brothers with their label DEEWEE. Open to all though assembling local artists, in mind Belgium-Caribbean Charlotte Adigéry or the likes of Asa Moto, the label-studio gathers musicians who carry a unique voice. Capitalizing on the human aspect of their work, the electronic pioneers also recently signed a partnership with the French record label Because, where Delv!s is signed.

Following the release of the irresistible compilation “Foundations”, 50th record from the DEEWEE label, and the “Martino” EP from Asa Moto last summer, the bridge between both entities continues to be built. A surprising yet clear musical match this “Walk Alone Track” remix by Asa Moto is another great step forward.
