Blanche new single 'MOMENT'

Blanche, aka Ellie Delvaux releases new single ‘Moment’ through [PIAS] Recordings. Already a big name in her native Belgium, Blanche’s return is marked with a livewire energy - ideas and feelings expressed with passion and technical expertise beyond her 19 years. ‘Moment’ has been produced by Rich Cooper (Billie Marten) and mixed by Dan Grech (Lana Del Rey, Halsey, Shura).

Blanche’s precocious songwriting, compelling vocals and melodies will stick with you long after the song ends. Blanche explains that ‘Moment’ is about the struggle of, “living in the present, trying to forget about any doubts and fears you have... She goes on to say, “we have to let ourselves live. If we don’t learn to enjoy the present moment, then we might regret it when it’s over”

The video for 'Moment' is directed by Eve Mahoney and produced by Rattling Stick and features Blanche and her friends letting go of their inhibitions whilst focusing on the excitement and purity of youth.

‘Moment’ almost had a very different story; the hook was written by Delvaux’s boyfriend for one of his rap tracks, but they quickly saw the potential in collaborating on making a new Blanche song with it. The fruits of this unusual journey were deconstructed and rearranged into the barbed but beautiful alt-pop single ‘Moment’.
