Blood Youth stream new EP Inside My Head

About Blood Youth:

Following the demise of their former band Climates, four fifths of Blood Youth at the end of 2014, had amassed a wealth of cathartic new material.

Pritchard’s former bandmate Kaya Tarsus stepped into the role of vocalist and IMH was recorded between Bandit Studios in Tetbury, UK with Jonny Renshaw (Devil Sold His Soul, The Elijah) and Celestial Productions in Wrexham, UK with producer Seb Barlow (Neck Deep, Homebound, ROAM).

Released in partnership with label Rude Records (home of Zebrahead, Emery, Knuckle Puck, American Hi-Fi, Set It Off, amongst others), the 5 songs snap and snarl at the heels of their collective anxieties, keeping their determination to continue peddling their art, above water. ‘Inside My Head’ is an unrelenting assault of punch-to-the-gut riffing and Tarsus’ impassioned vocals that both tear and soar. Brutally heavy yet deftly accessible, the material of ‘Inside My Head’ showcases its creators’ state of mind, striking a compelling balance between fury and vulnerability.

With this stunning first strike now unleashed, Blood Youth continue to focus their considerable energies, taking it to the road. With recent tour dates with Silverstein and Polar and a performance at prestigious festival Download under their belt, further live activity sees them scheduled at Hevy Festival and on an extensive UK tour with Trash Boat throughout July.
