British Producer TeeDee Returns to Insomniac Records for New Single “Bad Love”

British producer TeeDee returns to Insomniac Records with his second single on the label, “Bad Love.” The minimal tech house track already won over crowds throughout his sets this summer.

Based in Sheffield, England, TeeDee is a rising DJ and producer in the modern tech house scene, earning respect in both the commercial world, with platinum top 10 hits, and the underground space. His sound is rooted in the iconic northern bassline movement of the 2000s, blending catchy hooks with club culture influences.

“Bad Love” pairs soulful, R&B-infused vocals with lyrics about a dysfunctional relationship with a partner who isn’t worth the trouble. The production matches this tension, with a rapid, punchy bassline, crisp drums, and a dark atmosphere underneath.

The track has enjoyed early live support from Riordan and East End Dubz. It follows his Insomniac Records label debut "I Just Need You" from July, which drew mixshow plays from artists like BIJOU, ACRAZE, Tough Love, Tomo Hirata, and Tim Hox.

His catalog has received praise from industry tastemakers Max Dean, Joseph Capriati, Prospa, Alisha, SOSA, Omar, and Cloonee. TeeDee has sold out 34 headline shows, including many of his own hosted “Hyperactive World” showcases at Ministry of Sound London, WAV Liverpool, OFF BCN, Sawmills Bristol, IDRA Manchester, Hazy Club, and Amber's.

He has upcoming shows at The Warehouse Project, Hyperactive World at NX Newcastle, and a North American tour, including stops at Floyd Miami, SILO NYC, Halcyon, Spybar, Bijou, Coda, Culture, and Sound Nightclub.

“I’m buzzing to get ‘Bad Love’ out. It’s a record I was confident would react well in my sets as soon as I made it. Playing it out live this summer has been a lot of fun across all my shows and festival plays. It’s been great to see so much support from my peers as well, like Riordan and East End Dubz, just to name a few. Really pleased Insomniac liked the record as much as I do and were up for working with us on the release to help it reach more ears.” — TeeDee
