Breaking Alt-pop/Post-grunge artist Corro releases Valentine's Day single 'Show Me Love'. First single from upcoming EP 'Send Me to Hell'

The music world is set to be enriched this Valentine's Day as trailblazing alternative pop/post-grunge artist CORRO unveils his latest single, 'Show Me Love'. Scheduled for release on February 14th, 2024, through the Swedish independent label Icons Creating Evil Art, this track promises to be a poignant and compelling addition to CORRO’s evolving musical saga.

Following his acclaimed 2023 sensation 'Doomsday Valentine' (a collaboration with Baby Strange frontman Johnny Madden), 'Show Me Love' finds CORRO exploring new depths of emotional honesty and musical ingenuity. CORRO brings a unique blend of melancholy and introspection to his songwriting, especially when delving into the complexities of love and longing. He explains:

- “Show Me Love was something different than I’ve done before. At first it was just piano, I listened to a lot of Joji and The National and I have always resonated with the melancholy approach to writing about love. The lyrics came a lot by themselves as I started recording. It's about the sense of being desperate for love more than anything and always blaming yourself for it not working out."

Emerging from the shadows, brimming with colour & Nordic charm, CORRO continues to carve out his place within the music sphere with an arsenal of melody & aesthetic, usually reserved for the elite. Honing his talent in the trenches, with former bands DEADLOCKED STATE & Kerbera, CORRO has since embarked on his own formidable journey, signing to Swedish independent label Icons Creating Evil Art in 2019, and releasing a string of unapologetically, boundary bending singles, an EP and full length album since.

2021 single Mona Liza Overdrive took Corro to the next step and a new direction on that journey. Not just a song, but a statement of intent that began to catapult CORRO into a brand-new realm. It was the first collaboration with Glaswegian duo Johnny Madden (Baby Strange) & Chris Marshall (7West Studios / Gerry Cinnamon) which also featured guest drums from Chris Allen (Malefice, Brian May), that marked it as one of the stand out alt-rock songs of 2021.

CORRO's brand new single 'Show Me Love' will be released February 14th, 2024 via Icons Creating Evil Art. It is the first single from upcoming EP 'Send Me To Hell' (Q3, 2024).
