Browsing Collection release their new single Hi But No in connection with the International Women's Day just want everyone to just respect a no!

With their metal influenced punk rock and their enormous drive, browsing collection have brought salvation to their audience on stages all over Sweden and while touring South Korea. They are Sweden’s toughest, tightest musical bitchslap and ever since they started playing in 2008 they have decided to keep the control of releasing their music to themselves and instead build their own team, currently including publisher Icons Creating Evil Art, a couple of distributors (physical and digital) and several PR teams. They are now releasing their single 'Hi But No'.

Speaking of the song, the band says: "‘Hi But No’ was first and foremost an incredibly fun song to write. We managed to get everything from stylish riffs, swinging choruses, heavy interludes and, not least, a kickass solo - everything a song needs to become a live favourite."

The single 'Hi But No' is, just as the rest of their music, written, recorded and released by Browsing Collection themselves, on their own label. It is released on the international women's day, a day dedicated to discussing gender inequality.

The band explains: ”When we sat down with the text, we felt that the song had another meaning for us and now it is our most important song with an incredibly strong message. "Hello but no", inspired by the spot on comicimage by Jan Stenmark, includes all the times we and our close friends have been abused at the pub, all the comments we have to endure every time we play at a bar and above all the stories that constantly appear in social media. We, like many others, experience society as incredibly skewed and we want to contribute in our way.

We want to take this opportunity to pay attention to this in connection with international women's day and to raise the issue further through a bold damn punch-in-the-face of a song that stands up for gender equality and speaks about everyone's our obligation to respect a no."
