Cherie Amour Share New Single “Storm” Taken From Upcoming EP “Some Songs” Out 20th October Via Rude Records/EVR

Cherie Amour - the baltimore-native four piece- have shared a brand new track following the announcement of their upcoming EP “Some Songs” (due October 20th via Equal Vision Records/Rude Records) last month. Today, the band release “Storm” alongside a new music video which is available to watch here. "Storm" is available on digital streaming platforms here.

“Storm” is a swaggering offering that sees Cherie Amour lean into the relaxed element of “nu-punk” - the band’s self-described sound which saw them combine pop-punk, post-hardcore, r’n’b, hip-hop and metal. Irresistible optimistic vocals delivered by Trey Miller are the driving force of “Storm” which will join the band’s previous single “702” on their new EP.

Composed of Trey Miller (vocals), Casey Reid (guitar), Brendan Willis (guitar) and Ronnie Sherman (drums), Cherie Amour had originally started life under a previous name, One Life To Lead, but felt that name didn’t suit their evolving musical style.

Armed with a new name and new outlook, the Baltimore band began playing with elements of all their favourite genres. Nothing was off the table; pop-punk met hip-hop, r’n’b met metal and post-hardcore and it resulted in some of the most forward-thinking alternative music in this new decade.

“Some Songs” is the follow up to their acclaimed 2021 debut EP "Internal Discussions" which was produced by Alan Day of Four Year Strong and released through Equal Vision Records / Rude Records.
