Cocon Javel release their debut single "Je m’adore”; their EP “Put All Your Money Into Therapy” will premiere on the 24.01.25!

COCON JAVEL release their debut single «Je m’adore». The track impressively captures the inner conflict between sociality's expectations and individual well-being with a powerful build-up. The lyrics “Dégoûtée, irritée, angoissée / Je passe des heures à me scruter” reflect the constant self-criticism that many people feel on a daily basis. The refrain “Oui je l'adore, je l'adore” shows the biting cynicism of self-improvement, a feeling between the pressure to perform and never being enough.

«Je m’adore» is the first track from the EP «Put All Your Money Into Therapy», due for release on January 24, 2025. COCON JAVEL's multi-layered work blurs the boundaries between electronic music, experimental music, pop and rock. The three musicians Julie B., Athina Dill and Mélusine Chappuis describe their own style as ‘Candy Roquefort’. With a mixture of genuine self-love and critical reflections, the band aims to encourage listeners to engage with these issues.
