Common Saints releases "Equinox" EP
London-based producer and multi-instrumentalist Charlie J Perry, known by his musical alias Common Saints, will release his upcoming "Equinox" EP, on May 30th.
Common Saints is gearing up for his upcoming headline show at Omeara, London, on May 14th, which sold out within just three days. This marks his biggest headline performance to date and will feature support from Somewhere Soul.
Producer, composer, and songwriter Charlie Perry has spent the past decade behind the scenes - boosting careers with projects like Jorja Smith’s breakthrough EP Project 11, collaborations with Olivia Dean, Maverick Sabre, Lola Young, and writing/producing “Singularity” for BTS.
Driven by his early passion for performance, Perry has now stepped into the spotlight as Common Saints. His sound - rich, cinematic, and marked by lush reverb and unconventional structures - draws on a decade of pivotal experiences. As he puts it, “Everything I do has been leading to this sound.”
His debut album, Cinema 3000, encapsulates this vision. A record as vast and ambitious as its title suggests, Cinema 3000 encapsulates the hallmarks of Perry’s solo project—warm, luscious musicality, filmic sensibilities, and a grounded sense of spirituality and hope. Across 14 tracks, Perry cements himself not just as a behind-the-scenes producer but a true artist in his own right.
