Devvy Dub plans his 'Revolution' with debut album announcement

Today, San Francisco-based artist Devvy Dub announces his debut album, Revolution, will be released on January 22, 2027 via Hallwood. Growing up on a steady diet of indie sleaze and video game soundtracks, Devvy likes his guitars gritty and his drums loud. Revolution is a portal back to a night out in 2010 where the airwaves are dominated by Bloc Party, Phoenix and Gorillaz. Only this go-around, our time traveling protagonist has an arsenal of modern flourishes up his sleeve. Executive produced by Devvy himself, he recruited a wide range of other producers to put their spin on this body of work that’s unlike anything he’s released to date — Pre-save.

Along with the album news, today also sees the release of the new single “Feels Nice.” Co-produced by Jeff Hazin (Kali Uchis, glaive, Pawpaw Rod), the song is a high-energy look to the future — Stream.

Devvy shared, “I wanted to open up about the sacrifices I’ve made while chasing the dream of being a musician. It’s an introspective song, but still happy and fast-paced.”

Speaking about the album at large, he said “‘Revolution’ is an ode to all the music I grew up listening to. I wanted it to feel nostalgic but new at the same time. I think this collection of songs is something extremely new and refreshing in my catalogue, it’s unlike any of my previous work. The album talks about sacrifice, love, and the newness of becoming a rising indie artist.”

Devvy has also announced his US tour dates for early 2027. Making stops in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York and Chicago, gig goers will get all the energy of Revolution brought to their doorsteps. See all show information here and below.

ABOUT DEVVY DUB:

Arkansas-born producer and artist Devvy Dub, now based in San Francisco, makes alternative music that pushes past traditional genre lines. Blending synths, guitars, and textured vocal effects, Devvy creates songs that feel both laid-back and slightly chaotic in the best way.

In 2023, he released his debut EP Sorry I'm Late, I Didn't Want to Come, which helped introduce his distinct sound and storytelling style. His songs often unfold like stories, pairing nostalgic melodies with reflective lyrics that pull listeners into his world.

Most recently, Devvy released his Hero EP in 2025, which has generated over 9 million streams across platforms and continues to expand his audience.

Drawing inspiration from artists like Phoenix, The Strokes, Sugar Ray, Gorillaz, Jimi Hendrix, Ramones, A Tribe Called Quest, and Kid Cudi, Devvy Dub blends elements of hip-hop, pop, and rock into a sound that feels both familiar and uniquely his own.
