Dour Constructs Gritty, Industrial Tearout Dubstep Single "Pulsar" on Gud Vibrations

El Paso-based producer Dour—previously known under the alias Dead—introduces his new project with “Pulsar,” a forward-leaning tearout single marking his debut under the new name on NGHTMRE and SLANDER’s Gud Vibrations imprint. Known for a sound steeped in raw textures and industrial grit, Dour reemerges with sharpened focus and a heavier, more unpredictable edge.

“Pulsar” opens with a cinematic buildup that sets the tone for the chaos ahead, quickly escalating into a flurry of burst-fire synths and distorted basslines. The track’s midpoint flips the momentum: Dour slams into a jarring techno-infused switch-up, where industrial rhythms and pounding percussion reset the system, only to spiral back into a feral dubstep drop that shreds expectations once again.
