Dub Rockers present Raging Fyah & I-Kaya

Dub Rockers Presents Raging Fyah for their New York City debut, in a special showcase and press launch for the Wickie Wackie Music Festival. On Tuesday, November 24th Raging Fyah and special guest artist I-Kaya will perform at the Brooklyn hot spot Milk River for a special showcase performance to bring international awareness to The Wickie Wackie Music Festival.

The Wickie Wackie International launch event will mark the first international press launch for the Jamaica based event, Wickie Wackie Music Festival. Festival organizers, Raging Fyah and Touch The Road Jamaica have teamed up this year to create a new and improved Wickie Wackie Live (WWL)- a Christmas-season live music event now in its sixth year- held at Wickie Wackie Beach, Bull Bay, St Thomas, nine miles outside of Kingston. The re-named event has been expanded to include more music, art, cultural activities, food, beachside camping, and community inclusive tour packages for local and international guests.

Raging Fyah, one of Jamaica's leading roots rock bands of this generation, recently announced their signing to Dub Rockers, the newest imprint from the world's largest reggae company, VP Records. Following a series of California dates, the five-piece Kingston collective, will make their debut with a special guest appearance from up and coming Jamaican vocalist I-Kaya, a VP Records label mate and another promising young talent on the Jamaican reggae scene. "Raging Fyah breeds a progressive sound while staying true to real roots reggae. You know it is made from the heart and can feel the positive energy they bring. It's undeniable. This type of authenticity is rare and we are excited to help spread the word worldwide," states VP Records President Chris Chin.
