DUG Unveil 2026 Headline Tour - Including FAI New Orleans & Colorado Run

Irish-American duo DUG, comprised of Californian Jonny Pickett and folk artist Lorkin O’Reilly, have firmly established themselves as one of the most unique and relatable forces in the modern folk revival, thanks in part to standout singles such as “The Big Sundown,” “Jubilee,” and “Livelong Day.”

Unapologetically modern yet deeply rooted, their music draws from traditions on both sides of the Atlantic. In one breath they echo the great American folk troubadours; in the next, they seamlessly channel the elder statesmen of Irish folk creating a sonically distinct and contemporary approach to the genre.

DUG is thrilled to announce dates for their upcoming U.S. headline tour in early 2026. The newly announced shows include a stop at Folk Alliance International in New Orleans, as well as a Colorado run with Nathaniel Riley supporting in Denver and Boulder. The tour will also carry the band throughout the Midwest and the Pacific Northwest.

About Dug:

This is no accident. DUG have a shared musical heritage with members born in America and Scotland before arriving in Ireland. O’Reilly himself spent almost a decade making and releasing music in upstate New York, having picked up sticks from his native Edinburgh, (Irish mother and Scottish father) before moving to Ireland in 2022 to start a new musical chapter.

There’s a natural magnetism to DUG’s folk brew. The duo formed in 2023–but you’d be forgiven for believing that they’ve been writing together for a lifetime.

And you can hear that lived musical experience in their creativity. Resonator guitar and banjo, the building blocks of DUG’s arrangements, lick and spin, with intricate finger-picking patterns whirling to a compelling whole. Their music breathes, vamping in sync.
