Fews release new single LaGuardia

After a hugely successful 2016, FEWS see in the new year with a brand new track LaGuardia. The track, the band’s first new recording since the release of last year’s debut album Means, was first aired and evolved as set-opener whilst guests of Pixies on their European tour.

Making its entrance on those dates, LaGuardia is one of a handful of new songs the Anglo-Swedish quartet have been writing and demoing over recent weeks. Once again hooking up with (sometime fifth member), producer Dan Carey, LaGuardia a krautrock inflected maelstrom rolls menacingly into earshot, almost four minutes of pulsating wonder that certainly bodes well for the future, a well-timed aural interlude prior to their return to the studio.

Meanwhile, the band head out on-the-road later this month for two UK dates as part of this year’s Independent Venue Week after which sees them embark on their first European headline tour...
