Five new additions to the Summer Breeze line-up

Five bands have been added to the Summer Breeze line-up:

Hatebreed

A name held in high regard by every metalcore fan out there, and a band that – led by the extremely likeable frontman Jamey Jasta – embodies American metalcore like no other.

At SUMMER BREEZE 2015, they will cement their exceptional status in the scene. With a little bit of luck and if everything goes according to plan, they may even have the follow-up album to 2013's crushing 'The Divinity Of Purpose' ready by then, which would mean that their show could consist of new songs and not only a “best-of” set. There is simply no other band with such massive songs than HATEBREED, yet is also highly respected by metalheads everywhere. This is going to be huge, so huge! Are you reaaady to ruuummmmbleeee?!

Walls Of Jericho

Bounce alert at SUMMER BREEZE! WALLS OF JERICHO will show once more how you combine high energy aerobics and powerful hardcore into a gripping live performance.

Granted, most hardcore bands are pretty active on stage, but WALLS OF JERICHO frontwoman Candace Kucsulain's extremely energetic stage acting is really in a league of its own. Combined with the Detroit band's brutal hardcore sound, this equals effective live entertainment that is hard to escape from. You just get drawn into the pit, because in terms of power, aggression and sheer muscularity, Madame Kucsulain is second to none of her male peers. This is where it all gels together: music, stage presence and attitude. And the message behind it? Easy: In your face!

Terror Universal

Bands like Slipknot and Ghost have shown that wearing masks on stage is not necessarily a bad idea in order to gain people's attention. TERROR UNIVERSAL would like to do their grocery shopping anonymously in the future too... or move about on the SUMMER BREEZE 2015 festival site before/after their gig without getting recognised. Because only the name suggests these are absolute newcomers. In reality, it's (former) members of Machine Head, Soulfly and Ill Niño behind TERROR UNIVERSAL, which explains the massive modern metal punch they pack on their debut EP 'Reign Of Terror'. We have only had the chance to see the band live in our country late last year supporting Ill Niño, which is why couldn't resist booking these hot up-and-comers.

Fuck You And Die

Lightning speed, shredding galore, but with melody and a sense of catchiness. This is something many bands don't manage to gel together, but FUCK YOU AND DIE succeed effortlessly.

Fans of Necrophagist and Obscura should secure their place in the front row early, because this band, hailing from Baden-Württemberg, is ready to ascend into the genre's premier league. Their second album 'Elements Of Instability' always finds a balance between technical proficiency and killing brutality, so it doesn't turn into a mere presentation of the band's technical chops. It seems like FUCK YOU AND DIE always had the live setting in mind when they wrote the songs, because they are perfect for going crazy in the pit, but you can also spend your time staring at the guitarists in envy. Hell City

60% classic hard rock with a 40% metallic edge, 100% driving, groovy, straight and blessed with a frontwoman able to sing anything from heavy stuff to soft, balladesque tones. A pretty good starting point for HELL CITY.

The Belgians already have two albums to their credit, with especially album number two, 'Victorious', being a press and fan favourite since its release last year. Now HELL CITY can play picturesque Bavaria to convince you of their qualities. With their awesome song material and Michelle Nivelle's powerful and – even during quieter parts – pretty dirty sounding voice, this should be a walk in the park for the band, as HELL CITY have already managed to gain enough experience on various festival stages in their home country. Now it is Germany's turn to be conquered and taken over, and we are exceptionally happy to help.
